Category 5e+
component level
keystone jacks exceed component,
permanent link and channel level
requirements as defined in
TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and are fully
tested to 155 MHz and provide a
sound platform for supporting
all today's network operating
systems including Gigabit
Ethernet. These jacks install
easily with insulation
displacement technology (IDC) to
provide a gas-tight
wire-to-connector interface.

| The 6-position, 6-conductor connector is designed for business system applications. The connector utilizes IDC termination, accepts 22-24 AWG solid wire, and provides maximum flexibility in designing voice and low speed data distribution systems. Termination can be done using 110 punch down tools, or by using the termination cap for fast and easy termination. The KJJ series jack can either be end, or mid-span terminated, to suit the application. | For Category 6, Category 5e and Category 3 Voice Grade Keystone Jacks, designation icons and dust covers can be specified, for providing both port protection, color-coding and service identification. Both icons and dust covers are available for data or voice identification. | |||||
